Who we are

Supporting Women Through Safety, Recovery & a Future Beyond Abuse

The Redeemed Life Initiative CIC supports women and families who are experiencing or have experienced domestic abuse.

We understand that domestic abuse can affect every area of a woman’s life — from her safety, physical and mental health and emotional wellbeing, to her confidence, independence, relationships, finances, goals and aspirations for the future.

We provide a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space where women can access practical and emotional support, understand their options and take steps towards safety and stability. Our developing safe accommodation service will also provide women and their children with a secure place to stay when remaining at home is no longer safe.

Our support does not end when a woman reaches safety. We want to support women to recover from the wider impact of domestic abuse, rebuild their confidence and wellbeing, regain their independence and begin working towards the goals and aspirations that may have been affected or put on hold because of abuse.

Through practical support, advocacy, mental health and emotional wellbeing support, workshops, peer connection and opportunities for personal development, we aim to help women move from surviving to rebuilding and creating the future they want for themselves and their families.

Whether you are experiencing abuse now, thinking about leaving, have already left, or are rebuilding your life after abuse, Redeemed Life is here to support you.

Domestic abuse support

You Are Not Alone

If you are experiencing domestic abuse, you may feel frightened, confused, isolated or unsure about what to do next. You may still be living with the person causing you harm, thinking about leaving, or trying to rebuild your life after leaving.

Domestic abuse can affect much more than your immediate safety. It can impact your:

  • Mental health and emotional wellbeing
  • Physical health
  • Confidence and self-worth
  • Relationships with family and friends
  • Finances and ability to work
  • Independence and ability to make your own choices
  • Children and family life
  • Goals, aspirations and plans for the future

You do not have to wait until the abuse has ended to ask for help.

Whatever stage you are at, we are here to listen without judgement, help you understand your options and support you to make choices that feel right for you and your circumstances.

You may not know what your next step is yet — and that is okay. Reaching out can simply start with a conversation.

Your safety matters. Your wellbeing matters. Your future matters.
